Way to go, Team Diseases!

We had such a great time at the show last night! Thanks to our fantastic contributors, the ND and to everyone for coming out!

If you missed it, hey, that’s fine. Because next month, March 10, our show is about EXPLORERS! Don’t miss it!

You definitely won’t want to miss next month’s show on Mythical Beasts! UNICORZN.

Thanks for coming out last night if you did. If you didn’t, you missed some really embarrassing stuff and some truly fantastic contributors.

And for your memory’s pleasure, we present:

We did it!

Thank you to everyone that joined us last night in the Future as we went backward in time to look forward to the present and beyond!

Special ups go to Caitlin Parrish, Angelica Davis, Mike Henry, Erica Lies, Colin Gray, and Susan Quesal for really making us look so good last night! And extra help in the form of amazing photographic work by Mr. Martin Note and Ms. Heidi Moner!

We’ve got gifts brought back from the future that were left in the time machine. Look for those in the coming days ahead!

LYLAS,

The Encyclopedia Gang

The Encyclopedia Show, s. 1 vol. 5: The Future!!!

She’ll be coming from the future when she comes!

She’ll be coming through a wormhole when she comes!

She’ll be coming through a stargate,

She’ll be coming on a spaceship,

She’ll be coming from the future when she comes!

THE FUTURE is NOW (June 18th)!!!

Y’all, Dat was da BOMB.

Thank you to everyone who came out to be a part of the love and laughter and learning of Explosives last night! Some crazy science situations happened, we had some celebrities in the audience, and we really stuck it to the Institute in all the right ways: together.

Thank you especially to Amelia Gray, Krissi Reeves, Dan Kerrigan, Jackie Swanson and Ruthie Fisher for bringing their A games last night! And to the folks at ND@501 Studios for making the joint rock all night long!

Pics and posts coming soon!!!

See you in THE FUTURE: June 17th!!!

The Encyclopedia Show Austin, s1 vol4: EXPLOSIVES!

Explosives in the News Today

Y’all. It’s insane how many instances of explosives have come up this month in the news. It’s like the Universe is asking–NAY, COMMANDING–us to do a show about Explosives on May 20th at 8pm at ND@501 Studios…

So we’re gonna do just that.

To tide you over, here’s one of the more enjoyable responses to the (thankfully) (unsuccessful) car bomb found in Times Square last week. Brought to you be the folks who wised up and brought you Betty White (and brought back all the funny people from the last decade of SNL) this week.

Enjoy the laughter, and G-d Bl-ss Amer-ca!

Top 10 Greatest Explosions Ever

Check out livescience.com‘s 10 greatest explosions of all (and they mean all) time. One commenter was right, though: they include the Trinity Blast but skip the Tsar Bomba? BOLD.

See ya later, Roy!

After all of yesterday’s rain there really was a rainbow or three in Austin! If you couldn’t make it, you missed out on some KNOWLEDGE:

Rainbow Brite is an exploitative dictator; Indigo is a color, y’all; Life’s a piece of paper, doodles all are we (Let’s go coloring!); Prisms are gay and so are you/we; Light lets us see more than just colors.

Thanks to everyone who came out. No thanks to Skittle Tea.
