How are my gals!!?? I will be out of town for next week’s Encyclopedia Show. I’m sad to miss it, yes. However! I’m very excited to be attending a conference entitled, “Ladies! Get Over Your Childhood and Look Good While You’re Doin’ It! I’ll let you know how it goes.

In the meantime, I’ve been dying to share my new hairdo plans with you gals. It’s modeled after my favorite second lady, Lynn Cheney. Check out the volume! Check out the determination!

Gals, I don’t know about you, but I love lists. My “IT’S DA BOMB” list at the last E-show really invigorated my appetite to write it down to live it up!

I get so excited when I get something done, cross it off the list and reward myself with a mani/pedi and a class (or 4!!!) of Riesling. And nothing says June to me like a To-Do list, spa time, and fruity white wine, am I right?! But let’s not make those chores all work and no play! Check out my top five to-dos for this month!

1. Wun! It’s like a run AND a walk! Don’t forget to pump those arms.
2. Wear wedges. You’ll get the casual appearance of a sandal, with all the hips of a heel!
3. Catalog shop. No need for parking at the mall! My favorites are Chicos, J.C. Penny, and Kohls!
4. Make some Jam. It’s a thrifty way to make the most out of those summer berries. Truth be told, I like to spike mine with a little rum.
5. Learn a new skill. Fighting the tick tick tick of aging is easy when you you’re your brain sharp. This summer, I have vowed to become fluent in Russian and learn to play the piccolo! Wish me luck!
